I have made two tags, one using the poser included in the kit and the other using the artwork of Elias Chatzoudis which you can purchase HERE.
This tut was written in PSP X2 but any graphics program will work. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. I am using a PTU taggers kit called “Witchy Boo” which you can purchase at BUTTERFLY BLUSH DESIGNS. The template I am using is Halloween template #1 from DESIGNS BY ALI.
Items needed from the kit: poser witch (or another tube as in my first tag), paper 07, fire, pot, broom, color chip, and spider chain.
Font of choice, I am using one called “Witchy”
Let’s Begin: Open the template in psp shift D and close off original. Delete the water mark layer and then go to image, canvas size and increase to 800x800. Highlight raster 2 on the layer pallet, go to selections, select all, float and defloat. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with the darker purple on the color chip, selections ,select none. Now delete raster 2. Highlight the new purple layer and duplicate it, image flip position to you liking.
Highlight raster 1, selections, select all, float and then defloat. Add a new layer, copy and paste paper 7 as a new layer. Go to selections invert and hit delete on your keyboard. Now delete raster 1.
Delete raster 3 on the layer pallet.
Highlight raster 4, selections, select all, float and then defloat. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with your choice of color, I used the purple. Delete raster 4. Now take your magic wand and holding down the shift key click inside each of the frames. Go to selections, expand, and expand by 2. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with white, lower the opacity to 50. Now pull this layer below the frame layer. Add a drop shadow to the frame layer of H&V 0, opacity 40, blur 8, color black. Highlight the white box layer and add your Halloween saying, see mine for reference.
Highlight raster 7, go to selections, select all, float and then defloat and flood fill the cat with black. Add the above drop shadow.
Pick a spider chain from the kit, copy and paste as a new layer and resize by 80%. Place to the left side of the image on top of frame layer. Then duplicate the chain and image mirror. See mine for reference
Copy and paste the pot, fire, poser and broom and resize as necessary. Once again use the above drop Shadow on all the images. Add your copyright and name , resize and you are finished.
